I would like to dedicate the name of my company and its products to my hometown of Trieste, whose passion and tradition for coffee I’ve been sharing from birth and which I trust in passing on to my children.
“There are not more than five cardinal tastes (sour, acrid, salt, sweet, bitter), yet combinations of them yield more flavors than can ever be tasted” (Sun Tzu, The Art Of War, China, 770 B.C.)
Yet only a few of these combinations are destined to become worldwide landmarks!
Our endless quest for quality goes hand in hand with our overwhelming passion for coffee in order to accomplish the aim of allowing our clients to experience a true Italian espresso coffee, wherever in the world they may be.
Founder and C.E.O. of Antica Tostatura Triestina
Antica Tostatura Triestina Srl is a company engaged in producing some of the best blends of wood roasted coffee in the world.
Our motto is “Quality is a language that knows no borders” as our mission is to allow all of our coffee consumers to perceive this quality while drinking a cup of our coffee.
For this reason, we choose only the best coffee beans from sources all over the world, in every growing season and therefore we adapt our blends all year round.
Having a strong work ethic is of fundamental importance for Antica Tostatura Triestina.
The preservation of the environment, the consistency of our production and eco-friendly agriculture are fundamental corporate values that we share with our international customers. When it comes to “Fair Trade” we deliberately chose not to apply this label to our coffee, even if many of our coffee producers possess this feature, since we use FairTrade products but we aren’t willing to give up on the quality of our coffee by using them 100%.
Satisfying our customers is a major component in our company’s mission and we therefore do not want to limit the quality of our products by using only mixtures of coffee that don’t meet the taste and texture we seek in each cup.
We regularly deal with some of the most important emerging coffee producing countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Santo Domingo, Kenya, Ethiopia, India and so on.
We believe our customers would always prefer to receive an excellent quality coffee instead of an espresso which merely states that the blend consists in 30% of X and 70% of Y. Finally, we don’t want to risk disappointing our customers and for all of the above reasons we have intentionally decided not to fully tie ourselves to 100% eco-friendly commerce and agriculture. We do however produce a 100% Arabica blend which is Certified Organic NOP-CEE.
We hope to have outlined our business goals adequately and we hope you will be able to perceive the effort we put in producing a high quality coffee and that this effort will stand out in every single cup of our coffee.
